Everest Camp Trek

Trekking to Everest Base Camp is a once-in-a-lifetime event for many people, and it is not a difficult endeavor despite the camp's elevation of 5,550 meters above sea level. The path passes through some of the most magnificent Himalayan landscapes. Tourists are escorted by Sherpa guides who have lived in the region their entire lives and are quite knowledgeable about the area. Trekking to Everest Base Camp requires passing through traditional Sherpa communities and mountain monasteries known as "Gompas."
