Thrilling Nepal and Tibet Motorcycle Tour
One of the most exciting regions in the world, the biking journey from Lhasa in Tibet, to Kathmandu in Nepal will quite possibly be a “life changing” journey through time, scenery, and physical demands. The fully-supported bike tour will take you along the Friendship Highway to the “Roof-Top of the World”, Everest base camp, and takes in the world’s second longest descent, and the former home of the Dalai Lama.

Program
Overview
- Terrain: 25 % off-road and 75 % asphalt
- Bike: rental
- Mileage: 2800 kilometers / 1800 miles
- Daily rides: 100 – 340 kilometers / 62 – 211 miles
- Meals: all breakfasts, 14 lunches, 14 dinners
Day 1 : Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 meters/4,592 feet) and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. You will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseen
Kathmandu city sightseeing (Chinese visa processing day). Then, overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 3: Introduction to Royal Enfield
Introduction of Royal Enfield 500cc/350 cc and ride to Nagarkot (2,200 meters/7,216 feet). After lunch, ride back to Kathmandu. (Chinese visa on the process). Then, stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 4: From Kathmandu to The Last Resort or Borderland Resort (62 miles/100 kilometers)
Obtain a Chinese visa and ride to The Last Resort or Borderland Resort (Closer to Nepal – China Border). The journey is approximately 100 kilometers and will take four hours (2300 meters/7544 feet). Afterward, you will stay overnight at tented camp.
Day 5 :Ride to Nyalam Via Kodari
Ride to Kodari, complete immigration, customs formalities and enter Tibet, where you have to complete the Chinese custom/immigration formalities. Later, you will ride to Nyalam (3,750 meters/12,300 feet) and the journey will approximately take two hours. You will stay overnight at guesthouse.
Day 6 : Acclimatization
Acclimatization ride/hike in and around Nyalam. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 7 Ride to Old Tingri (149 miles/240 kilometers)
Ride to Old Tingri (4,348 meters/14,261 feet). The journey will take approximately five hours.
Day 8 Ride to Rongbuk Monastery (62 miles/100 kilometers)
Ride to Rongbuk Monastery (5,100 meters/16,728 feet) and explore around Mount Everest North Base Camp. The journey will take approximately three hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 9 :Ride to Shigatse (222 miles/358 kilometers)
Ride to Shigatse (3,800 meters/12,464 feet). The journey will take approximately seven hours. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Ride to Lhasa city (167 miles/268 kilometers)
Ride to Lhasa City (3,660 meters/12,000 feet). The journey will take approximately five hours. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Lasha city Sightseen
Full day sightseeing tour of Lhasa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Ride to Gyantse(162 miles/260 kilometers)
Ride to Gyantse (3,900 meters/12,792 feet) via Lake Yamdruk tso and Korola Pass. The journey will take approximately seven hours. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 :Ride back to New Tigri (211 miles/340 kilometers)
Ride back to New Tingri via Shigatse and Lhatse. The journey will take approximately seven hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 14:Ride back to Nyalam (174 miles/280 kilometers)
Ride to back to Nyalam. The journey will take approximately six hours. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 15: Ride to Dhulikhel via Zhangmu (90 miles/145 kilometers)
Ride back to Zhangmu, complete immigration formalities, exit to Nepal and ride to Dhulikhel. The journey will take approximately five hours. Eve: Farewell dinner.
Day 16: Departure
Transfer to airport to board the final departure flight to onwards journey.
