In Kathmandu, Nepal, there is a historic street called Freak Street, also called Jhochhen Tole. During the 1960s and 1970s, when it became a well-liked resort for hippies and Western tourists looking for an alternative lifestyle and spiritual experiences, it acquired its distinctive name. The street was crowded with affordable guesthouses, cafes, handicraft shops, and businesses that catered to the counterculture movement during this time.
After breakfast, we'll move toward the picturesque Balthali Village, which offers a stunning view of the mountains to the north.
Today, we'll be Hippies in Nagarkot. The thrilling journey begins in Balthali Mountain Resort and continues to the lovely hill town of Nagarkot.
